Col. Charles J.Larsen, born August 23rd 1915. and served with the 6th infantry division throughout the campaigns in New Guinea and Luzon passed away on January 14, 2009 at the age of 93. He was buried with full military honors in Arlington National Cemetery on March 5th 2009.
