Looking for info on Captain William V. Davidson, "F" Company 1st Infantry 6th Mtz Division
I have very little information about my father who fought in WWII on New Guinea and on the island of Luzon. I have a camp studio photo by "Lennie" of the six officers ... named Thomas L. King, Andrew Fowler, Stanley M. Mix C.O. Darold D. Davidson, a Eugene L Gibkevrd(? Spelling?), and my father William V. Daidson.
He was wounded twice and received a Purple Heart and a Bronze Star.... havent' been able to find any records from the goverment due to fire in St. Louis...
I appreciate any and all comments or information.

thats all i know any info a help seeking photos what co he was in how killed???
