   Tom, thanks for posting this picture of dad and my brother Gary. Hard to believe it was 16 years ago. Since that time both of them have gone home to be with our Lord. I’m planning to be on Blue Beach Lingyen gulf January 9, 2021, God willing. Dad came ashore that day with the 6th Division and General Douglas McArther 76 years ago!!

         Tom, trip to Luzon is on! My 2 sons , a nephew and a sister will fly into Manila Jan 5, 2023 , will be in Lingayen Gulf on Blue Beach where Dads 51st FA Battalion landed on Jan 9. Then on to Munoz, Cabanatuan, Bataan, Corregidor and a stay in Manila, Pearl of the Orient. They’ve opened up the country. Tom , come join us to honor our fathers and their sacrifice!!!

           Thank you for then invite and for the post. Sorry I cannot join you for your trip, but please take plenty of photos and consider writing a story about what you learn and experience on such an amazing trip.
